I knitted this pattern from Laine Issue 21 and I loved it. And I found so many ways to wear it… so I thought I’d offer it to you in a special bundle.

I used 1 skein of Rosy Green Wool Merino D’Arles in Piment on 3.5mm needles and still have a small ball of yarn left over.

It’s worked flat following a chart. The chart legend printed in the magazine does not mention the stitches on the wrong side which if you know your way around knitting it’s easy to spot, but if you’re newer, to note that on the wrong side, it’s the opposite (knit is purl and purl is knit and KTBL is PTBL).

You’re knitting leaves (4 left side and 4 right side) and flowers centred on top of the leaves. In chart 2 there are quite a few left side leaves with the wrong stitch printed in – i.e. 1/1/1 RC instead of 1/1/1 LC.

I’m here to help though if you get stuck at any point so don’t be put off by the chart issue if you’re new to it!
