Cuddly soft wool starts with the sheep. Extra fine Merino wool from Patagonia with 19.5 micron. It not only indulges all the senses but is good for the animals as well - from certified organic animal farming.
You can feel the quality of the yarn which makes knitting itself a treat. The yarn is spun just firmly enough so that it hardly splits while knitting and the finished garment pills as little as possible. Loosely dyed in skeins it becomes even softer and remains nice and elastic. Small manufactories in Portugal and England produce the wool according to strict specifications - using only traditional machines and manual work. This care is also visible in the knitted garments.
The wool is climate neutral and 100 % GOTS certified. This means you can be certain that the production does not cause harm to either animals or humans. Fair working conditions, high environmental standards and only a small number of permitted chemicals are regularly inspected by independent organisations. The wool is made machine washable without using chlorine. The yarn smells good and is better for the skin.
