100% superfine alpaca perfect for lightweight, comfortable garments that are super soft on the skin, and have a lovely characteristic sheen.
The alpaca fibre is untreated (just washed, no chemicals) which highlights its natural properties, giving beautiful shape and drape, and excellent texture quality.
Being hypoallergenic, alpaca fibre does not itch and the natural warmth and breathability is perfect for keeping warm.
This yarn is from Pembrokeshire Alpaca Trekking's heard of over 50 alpacas. They are sheared every year, and then their fleece is spun into this beautiful knitting yarn at Curlew Weavers mill nearby.
